Adam Dunn ripped 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Jefferson Park Penguins
defeated the Tombstone Huckleberries by the score of 11 to 2 at the
ballpark.
Dunn made sure the Jefferson Park fans enjoyed themselves. He lifted one out
of the park for a two run home run in the 3rd inning and popped a two-run
clout over the fence (his 13th of the season) in the 7th inning. Jefferson
Park had 16 hits overall, while Tombstone had 4.
The win went to Randy Johnson(11-4) who allowed 2 runs in 7 innings. David
Wells(7-5) was hit with the loss. He was not very effective, surrendering 8
runs in 6 and 2/3 innings.
The Jefferson Park ballclub's record now stands at a division leading 51-35.
With this loss, Tombstone has a 4-6 record of late, 48-38 overall.
